We have a beautiful cherry tree just about to bloom to welcome spring.

The Japanese love two things—-in fact revere them—pottery and cherry blossom. But with Japan being closed to tourists because of Covid restrictions, why not come to Blackheath Pottery instead?

There were some suggestions to be more Japanese. One of the men around here—-mentioning no names, but he has white hair—wanted to dress us up as geisha girls HELLO!! No.

Another male, again no names but he has a big red beard, suggested samurai warriors!! NO-NO-NO!!

Our cherry tree is 60 years old. Our garden is a peaceful haven away from the busy Causeway Coast. Relax and enjoy a coffee sitting between the branches of a glorious example of a cherry tree in full bloom. A place for quiet contemplation of the glory of Mother-nature, away from the hustle and bustle—--- Japan comes to Aghadowey.

Your table awaits—Sayonara until we see you.
