Welcome to The Blackheath Pottery Café, where you can savour great coffee, indulge in scrumptious cakes, and enjoy tasty food in a cosy setting.

Nestled in the picturesque Causeway Coast countryside, our pottery is a place of artistry and tradition, where handcrafted pottery celebrates the joy of daily tea and coffee rituals.

Our doors are open from Wednesday to Sunday, 11 am to 4 pm (Saturday 10 am to 5 pm), and you're welcome to drop in anytime! We've got both indoor and outdoor seating, no need to make a reservation – just come on in and make yourself at home. You can even grab your favourite treats to-go with our convenient takeaway options, or book ahead and pick up your favourite cake for a birthday or get together.

Bring your furry friends along (yes, we're dog-friendly inside!)

Coffee & Drinks

As coffee enthusiasts, we take pride in sourcing the finest coffee from 3FE in Dublin, and our coffee bar serves up the mouthwatering malarkey blend. If tea is your thing, you're in for a treat with our premium selection from SUKI Tea in Belfast, including the classic Belfast Brew and other delightful flavors.

We love supporting local producers, so our milk comes from the heart of Northern Ireland, and we've got some amazing alternative milks from Minor Figures. Our Hot Chocolate, with its rich and velvety goodness, hails from the picturesque Mourne Mountains, courtesy of NearyNogs. And when it comes to refreshing beverages, our selection of Apple juices from Orchard Twist in Co Armagh hits the spot.

Wee Bundts (and other treats)

The highlight of our café is our beloved Wee Bundts – gloriously light sponge cakes with ever-changing flavours and colours that'll surprise and delight you every time. Plus, we've always got something special for our gluten-free and vegan friends! Cakes change daily and seasonally but you will often find toasted banana bread, apple cake, lemon pistachio loaf and more!

Food

All week we serve local and fresh dishes for lunch, all throughout the day. Treat yourself to our mouth-watering Welsh Rarebit, served on Zacs Bakhouse sourdough with our secret red onion pickle recipe – it's pure cheesy goodness! Try our seasonal fresh soups and cheese toasties, famous Blackheath salad, pies and specials.

At The Blackheath Pottery, we're all about local goodness, and our fresh ingredients are thoughtfully supplied by Scotts Farm Shop in Aghadowey.
